Jay started fishing at a young age in the oceans of California and Baja mexico. When he moved to Colorado he took his fishing to the rivers and lakes of the high mountains of rockies. With all the prize waters of Co he honed his fly fishing skills targeting big fish. When he moved to the Jackson valley his love for the waters and fishing brought him the opportunity to start guiding and he’s never looked back. With a plethora of knowledge and a positive attitude fishing remains fun and a learning experience.

Graves grew up in Georgia with a love for the outdoors and moved to Jackson Hole after graduating college in 2012. After growing up fishing for bass and crappie on a large lake and making frequent trips to fish nearby saltwater, fly fishing has offered an opportunity to learn about and teach to others the most technical aspects of the sport, to promote conservation, learn the subtleties of the species, and to spend time on the water. Graves has a wealth of knowledge about the sport and the area and endeavors every trip to provide a world class fly fishing experience.
