The Snake River

Why Fish the Snake River?

There are numerous access points along the Snake River, and with its diverse fishing opportunities, it is a popular spot for fishing. The views alone make the Snake River an absolute must-see and must-fish while you’re in the area. There is a good chance you will come across some local wildlife in the early morning along the banks.

For those looking to explore this legendary river on foot, our guided walk and wade trips offer an easy, flexible way to fish some of the Snake’s most productive stretches, no boat required.

Try going out near Kelly or, if you’re willing to hike, there are areas out in the Gros Ventre Wilderness.
